How to take

Adult dose

As silostazol, the usual adult dose is 100mg orally, twice a day. Adjust dosage appropriately depending on age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication may increase the heart rate, worsening angina symptoms, so careful observation for angina symptoms is necessary. It should not be administered to patients at high risk of bleeding or those who have had recent bleeding disorders. Patients with weak cardiac function, such as those with congestive heart failure, should also avoid this medication as it may worsen symptoms.
