Treatment of peripheral artery circulation disorders (intermittent claudication) and organic brain function disorders (tinnitus, headache, etc.)
This medication is primarily used to treat intermittent claudication, which is a peripheral artery circulation disorder. It also helps relieve symptoms of dizziness and vascular or degenerative tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Additionally, it is effective in treating organic brain function disorder symptoms associated with dementia, such as tinnitus, headache, memory impairment, concentration difficulties, depressive feelings, and dizziness. It contributes to improving the quality of life for patients by alleviating these symptoms.
1) Peripheral artery circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus (ringing in the ears): as Ginkgo leaf extract, take 40 mg three times a day or 80 mg twice a day orally. 2) Organic brain function disorders: as Ginkgo leaf extract, take 40-80 mg three times a day or 120 mg twice a day orally. Adjust dosage appropriately based on age and symptoms.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with specific allergic reactions. It is advisable for children under 12 years old to avoid taking this medication. Pregnant women must consult with healthcare providers before taking this medication. Individuals with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should not take this medication. Those with bleeding issues or who are taking blood-thinning medications should consult a doctor before using this medication. Nursing mothers should consult a specialist since it is uncertain if this medication passes into breast milk. Individuals scheduled for surgery should stop taking this medication and consult healthcare providers. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months of taking the medication, it is important to consult a specialist immediately. Caution is necessary as side effects such as gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, and allergic skin reactions may occur during use.
