Efficacy & effects

Improvement in blood pressure control for essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

Essential hypertension refers to a condition where blood pressure is persistently high, and additional treatment may be required when blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with amlodipine or telmisartan. In this case, combining the two medications helps to effectively lower and control blood pressure. By controlling hypertension, the burden on the heart and blood vessels is reduced, and the risk of complications such as stroke or myocardial infarction is lowered. Therefore, this medication is used for the treatment of essential hypertension, contributing to blood pressure improvement and cardiovascular health maintenance.
