Glitin Syrup (Choline Alfoscerate)

Adult dose

Administer 400 mg (1 sachet) of choline alfoscerate orally 2～3 times daily. Adjust the dose appropriately according to symptoms.

This medication should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its components. It is safer for pregnant women or those who may become pregnant not to take this medication. This medication may cause nausea, which occurs because it affects the neurotransmitter dopamine in the brain. If such symptoms occur, it is advisable to reduce the dosage of the medication. Additionally, this medication may cause gastrointestinal issues such as gastritis or stomach diseases. Mentally, it may cause drowsiness, insomnia, anger, or irritability, and in severe cases, may lead to seizures or hyperactivity. This medication should be stored out of reach of children in a safe place. Also, transferring it to another container may cause accidents and deteriorate the quality of the medication, so it is recommended to keep it in its original container.
