Additionally, patients with severe renal impairment, elderly patients, and those taking PDE5 inhibitors, CYP3A4 inhibitors, antihypertensives, or alpha-1 blockers should use this medication with caution. In particular, patients taking alpha-1 blockers should generally avoid this medication and should only use it carefully if absolutely necessary. Neurological side effects such as dizziness, headaches, drowsiness, insomnia, and decreased libido may also occur. This medication may affect the cardiovascular system, leading to tachycardia, decreased blood pressure, and arrhythmias, as well as allergic reactions such as skin rashes and itching. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, and diarrhea; consult a physician if any abnormal symptoms appear. Liver function abnormalities and jaundice may also occur, so regular liver function tests are recommended. In addition, serious side effects such as gynecomastia, priapism, visual disturbances, and skin rashes have been reported, though rarely. This medication may present a risk of decreased blood pressure in cases of overdose; therefore, it is crucial to adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage, especially concerning blood pressure changes when standing. Exercise caution to avoid accidents due to dizziness when driving or working at heights. This medication is a symptomatic treatment to relieve symptoms, not a curative treatment; therefore, if it does not work, consider other treatment options.
