It is important to consult a specialist if heartburn persists for more than 3 months or occurs with dizziness, cold sweat, or fainting. If you experience pain in the chest or shoulder and have difficulty breathing, or if you frequently have chest pain, you should consult a specialist before taking this medication. You should be cautious if you notice unexpected weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, and you should consult regarding the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Anyone with a history of drug allergies, kidney or liver dysfunction, elderly individuals, or those with a history of acute porphyria must consult with a physician or pharmacist. If serious side effects such as hives, rash, difficulty breathing, severe dizziness, blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, gastrointestinal symptoms, psychiatric symptoms, muscle pain, or skin abnormalities occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. This medication may mask the symptoms of stomach cancer, so it should only be used temporarily for symptom relief, and interactions with specific antibiotics have not been established. When taken with sucralfate, it is advisable to separate the doses by 2 hours as it may affect absorption. In case of an overdose, appropriate treatment such as inducing vomiting or gastric lavage is necessary, and blood dialysis may be required if necessary. Do not take with alcoholic beverages, and inform your specialist of any changes in physical function after administration. Elderly individuals or those with chronic lung disease, diabetes, or a weakened immune system should be careful as they may have an increased risk of pneumonia. False-positive results may be obtained in urine protein tests, so take note during examinations.
