Efficacy & effects

Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

This drug effectively lowers blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension who are not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy with either amlodipine or telmisartan, thereby reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications. This treatment aids in blood pressure control through vasodilation or blood pressure control mechanisms. Consequently, proper management of blood pressure contributes to improved heart and vascular health. Therefore, the use of this drug is recommended for the treatment of essential hypertension.
