Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who have had allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to this medication or any of its components. It is safer not to administer this medication to patients with peptic ulcers, severe cardiovascular diseases, significant liver or kidney dysfunction. Patients with a history of allergic reactions to COX-2 inhibitors, sulfonamides, aspirin, or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should not use this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid taking this medication due to the herbal ingredients as they pose a risk of miscarriage or premature birth. Patients allergic to soybean oil, beans, peanuts, etc., should not take this medication either. Patients with a history of peptic ulcers or cardiovascular diseases, liver or kidney function issues, bronchial asthma, or those taking psychiatric medications should use this medication cautiously. Patients with lipid metabolism disorders or those taking lipid emulsifiers also need to exercise caution. This medication may cause side effects such as heartburn, indigestion, dry mouth, nausea, diarrhea, facial or generalized swelling, weakness, skin itching, and leukopenia. Additionally, symptoms like headaches, upper respiratory infections, and blurred vision have been reported infrequently. In clinical trials and post-marketing studies, serious adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, liver abscess, pyelonephritis, and pneumonia may occur rarely; therefore, if abnormal symptoms appear, immediate consultation with a physician is advised. Particular caution is necessary for patients with a history of peptic ulcers as symptoms like heartburn or indigestion may worsen. Patients with fluid retention or heart failure should use this medication carefully due to the risk of exacerbated swelling. Those who frequently consume alcohol may have an increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, so caution is advised. Since there is limited experience with concurrent use of corticosteroids, hyaluronic acid injections, COX-2 inhibitors, sulfonamides, aspirin, etc., caution is necessary during coadministration. If signs of cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, liver, or kidney function abnormalities appear during treatment, prompt examination and appropriate measures should be taken. Regular blood tests, kidney and liver function tests, and electrocardiograms are important to monitor for abnormalities. Severe allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis, may occur; thus, be prepared for emergencies. This medication should not replace corticosteroid therapies or be used for treating corticosteroid deficiency. Avoid driving or operating machinery if symptoms like dizziness or drowsiness occur. Certain herbal components of this medication can cause gastrointestinal disturbances or skin rashes, so if symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Patients at risk of lipid overload should regularly check their blood lipid levels and adjust dosages as necessary. Research on interactions with specific medications is insufficient, so it is advisable to consult a professional if concurrently taking other medications. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid use as safety has not been confirmed, or discontinue breastfeeding. Safety and efficacy have not been established for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, so caution is necessary. Elderly patients may experience more prominent adverse reactions; therefore, careful monitoring and cautious administration are required. In case of overdose, seek immediate medical diagnosis and treatment. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and transferring to other containers is not advisable as it can affect product quality.
