5-MC Cream (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25-0.66g (23-62mg of lidocaine) as an ointment 5-15 minutes before intercourse. Dosage and application time depend on the individual, and the minimum effective dose should be used. Do not exceed a total of 2g (184mg of lidocaine) within 24 hours.

This medication should not be used if the patient or partner has a history of allergic reactions to this medication or other amide local anesthetics. It should not be used on patients with wounds or inflammation in the application area. It is advisable not to administer this medication to a pregnant partner. Patients with liver or kidney disease should use this medication with caution and always follow the physician's instructions. If a rash or irritation occurs while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Extended use beyond 3 months without medical supervision should be avoided. This medication is for topical use only and should be kept away from the eyes and nose. Reapplying multiple times in the same area is not advisable. This medication should be stored in a safe place away from children and infants. It should not be stored at high temperatures over 40 degrees, very low temperatures, or in direct sunlight. After use, do not burn the medication and dispose of it properly.

This medication is sensitive to air and moisture, so it should be stored in a sealed container. The storage temperature should be maintained between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature.
