Precautions

This medication should not be used in children or women. In particular, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should be careful not to handle broken or crushed tablets, as this may pose potential risks to male fetuses. During the course of treatment with this medication, mood changes or symptoms of depression may occur; if these symptoms arise, consult a healthcare professional immediately. Do not use this medication if you have a hypersensitivity reaction or specific genetic lactose intolerance conditions, or allergies to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts. Patients with liver dysfunction or lipid metabolism issues should be cautious when taking this medication, and regular monitoring of plasma lipid levels is recommended. This medication is generally well tolerated; however, side effects associated with sexual function may occur. Reports include erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and ejaculation disorders, and breast enlargement or breast pain may occur in some patients. The relationship between long-term use and the occurrence of male breast cancer is not clear, but there may be an increased risk of high-grade prostate cancer, necessitating regular check-ups. This medication has minimal interactions with other drugs, but it is advisable to consult a healthcare provider if you are taking other medications. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medication, and those who have taken it during pregnancy should be aware of the risks to male fetuses. Safety and efficacy in children have not been established, so it is not given to children. No dosage adjustment is required for the elderly, as they generally respond similarly to younger patients. This medication may decrease serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels; therefore, this should be taken into account when interpreting PSA test results. In the case of overdose, there is no specific treatment; adherence to the recommended dosage is important. Store in a sealed container to prevent air ingress, and keep at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will help maintain the effectiveness of the medication.
