This medication is used for the treatment of hypertension, stable angina, and unstable angina leading to myocardial ischemia. It also helps reduce the risks of hospitalization due to angina and risks related to coronary vascular procedures in patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease but without heart failure and with an ejection fraction of greater than 40%. It plays an important role in treating patients with cardiovascular diseases by effectively improving heart and vascular health.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults take 5mg of amlodipine orally once daily, and can increase to a maximum of 10mg per day depending on the patient's response. Adjust according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. In particular, it must not be administered to patients with allergies to this drug or similar drugs, nursing women, patients with severe liver dysfunction, severe aortic stenosis, and patients in a state of shock. Additionally, it should be used with caution in patients with severe hypotension, those requiring dialysis due to renal failure, elderly patients, and women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Patients should be wary of side effects when taking this medication.
