Keratitis and conjunctivitis, as well as allergic conjunctivitis that occur in spring, cause inflammation in the eyes, leading to symptoms such as itching, swelling, and redness. This medication helps alleviate the symptoms of these eye diseases and reduces inflammation. In particular, in cases of allergic conjunctivitis, it suppresses allergic reactions to relieve symptoms. Therefore, it is used for inflammatory eye diseases that frequently occur in spring.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1-2 drops four times a day (morning, noon, evening, before bed). Adjust according to symptoms. The amount in a single-use container is sufficient for application to both eyes once.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergic reactions to benzalkonium chloride. When instilled in the eye, temporary irritation, a hot sensation, pain, conjunctival redness, conjunctival edema, and eyelid inflammation may occur. Additionally, conjunctivitis or hypersensitive reactions may rarely occur, so caution is needed. During treatment, it is advisable to avoid wearing soft contact lenses. Even if symptoms improve, if exposure to allergens such as pollen, dust mites, or mold continues, medication should be continued. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consider the effects on the fetus when using this medication, and should only use it if the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks. This medication is for ophthalmic use only and care should be taken to avoid direct contact of the opening of the container with the eye. Do not share with others, and if the medication contacts the area around the eyes, it should be cleaned thoroughly. It is safest not to use any remaining medication after 1 month from opening. Keep out of reach of children, and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Transferring the medication to another container risks misuse and may degrade quality, so it should be stored in its original container. There have been cases of allergic reactions due to the preservative benzalkonium chloride contained in this product, so caution is warranted.
