Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of gastric bleeding if taken by those who regularly consume more than three drinks a day, so it should be taken only after consulting with a doctor or pharmacist. This medication may raise the risk of cardiovascular diseases, so patients with a history of heart disease or stroke, or those with risk factors, should take special precautions. If symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, or slurred speech occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional. As a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, serious gastrointestinal problems such as gastric bleeding, ulcers, and perforation may occur, necessitating caution in elderly individuals or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. If serious rashes, mucosal damage, or allergic reactions occur, discontinue the medication immediately, as these symptoms can be life-threatening. This drug can affect kidney function, so patients with kidney disease or weakened kidney function should use it cautiously. Pregnant women or those planning to become pregnant should not take this medication, as it risks decreasing fertility. This medication can cause liver function abnormalities, requiring regular examinations for those with a history of liver disease or abnormal liver function test results. Many drug interactions occur with this medication, so if taking other medications, you must inform your doctor or pharmacist, particularly when taken with anticoagulants, diuretics, lithium, or methotrexate. This medication may cause drowsiness and dizziness; caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery. Elderly patients have weaker kidney, liver, and heart functions, so they should take this medication at the lowest effective dose and should be particularly vigilant for adverse reactions. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as vomiting, drowsiness, and gastric bleeding may occur. Immediate medical attention is necessary, as there is no specific antidote; gastric lavage and supportive care are required. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, in its original container and sealed.
