Precautions

This medication may increase heart rate, which could pose a risk of angina symptoms. Therefore, it is important to carefully monitor symptoms of angina such as chest pain. Patients with a high risk of bleeding, heart failure, allergies to this drug or its components, pregnant women, those who may become pregnant, or breastfeeding women should not use this medication. Caution is required for patients taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, thrombolytics, menstruating women, patients with coronary artery stenosis, kidney or liver failure, diabetes, hypertension, or cardiac arrhythmias. This medication can cause various side effects such as headaches, diarrhea, palpitations, joint swelling, and chest discomfort; if any unusual symptoms occur, consult a doctor immediately. Symptoms of bleeding or early signs of blood disorders such as fever, sore throat, or mild bruising should be reported immediately, and a blood test may be required. Dizziness may occur, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Taking this medication with food can increase drug concentration in the blood, so it is recommended to take it on an empty stomach, especially avoiding high-fat meals. Since this drug is metabolized in the liver, dose adjustment may be necessary for patients with impaired liver function. Caution is warranted due to potential interactions with other medications, especially with anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, and CYP3A4 and CYP2C19 inhibitors. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medication, and breastfeeding should be stopped if taken. Safety in pediatric or neonatal populations has not been established, so use should be approached with caution. Elderly patients may have reduced physical function, so careful dose adjustment is needed. Overdose may cause symptoms such as headache, diarrhea, hypotension, and tachycardia, requiring appropriate treatment. Blood pressure and cardiac condition should be regularly monitored during treatment, and if any unusual symptoms arise, consult medical personnel immediately.
