Precautions

This drug may increase heart rate and can present angina symptoms, so careful monitoring is required, especially for symptoms like chest pain. This medication should not be used in patients with a high risk of bleeding or in those with recent bleeding diseases or surgeries. It should also not be administered to patients with congestive heart failure, known allergies to its ingredients, or to pregnant or breastfeeding women. Patients taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, or thrombolytics may be at increased risk of bleeding, so caution is advised. Women menstruating, patients with coronary artery stenosis, severe kidney failure, liver failure, or diabetes also require special attention. This medication can cause various side effects, including headaches, diarrhea, palpitations, and joint pain; if serious bleeding or hematological abnormalities occur, administration should be stopped immediately. In patients with cerebral infarction, administration should begin once symptoms stabilize, with attention paid to blood pressure management and interactions with other medications. Caution is also needed when driving or operating machinery due to potential dizziness. Taking this medication with food can increase drug concentration, so it is advisable to take it on an empty stomach, particularly after a high-fat meal. As this drug is metabolized in the liver, its blood concentration may increase when taken with drugs that inhibit liver metabolic enzymes, necessitating dosage adjustment. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication, and breastfeeding mothers should discontinue nursing. Children and the elderly should be treated with special caution due to different body functions. In case of overdose, symptoms such as headache, diarrhea, low blood pressure, and tachycardia may appear, requiring immediate medical assistance.
