View approved original text

This medication is used to improve ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and cold sensations caused by chronic arterial occlusive diseases, namely Buerger's disease or arteriosclerosis obliterans, and diabetic peripheral vascular disease. It also helps in preventing recurrence after the onset of cerebral infarction, particularly excluding cardiogenic cerebral embolism. This improves patients' blood circulation and reduces the risk of recurrence. Overall, it is effective in enhancing vascular health, mitigating symptoms, and preventing disease progression.

Women during menstruation, patients with narrowed coronary arteries, and those with severely impaired kidney or liver function should be cautious when using this medication. Diabetic patients may experience side effects like bleeding more easily, so caution is necessary. This medication may cause various side effects such as headaches, diarrhea, heart palpitations, joint pain, and if serious side effects are suspected, medical advice should be sought immediately. Dizziness may occur during administration, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Since this medication is metabolized in the liver, those with liver or kidney function impairment may require a dose adjustment. Women who are pregnant or might become pregnant should not use it, and discontinuation is recommended for breastfeeding women. Safety has not been established for children or newborns, so use should be avoided. Elderly patients have a higher risk of side effects due to weakened bodily functions, hence dose adjustment and caution are necessary.
