Dizziness may occur, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Taking this medication with meals may increase blood concentrations and the risk of side effects, so it should be taken on an empty stomach, especially after high-fat meals. Since this drug is metabolized in the liver, when taken with drugs that inhibit certain liver metabolic enzymes, blood concentrations may increase requiring dosage adjustments, and it should not be taken with grapefruit juice.
