How to take

Adult dose

For cilostazol, the usual adult dose is 200 mg orally once a day. This medication should be taken on an empty stomach, avoiding meals.

Precautions

This medication may increase heart rate, posing a risk of symptoms such as angina, and careful observation of symptoms such as chest pain is required. It should not be used in patients with a high risk of bleeding or bleeding disorders, and administration should be avoided in those who have recently experienced hemorrhagic stroke or undergone surgery. Patients with congestive heart failure, those with hypersensitivity to this medication, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also not take this medication.
