Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions to this drug or any of its components. It is also safe to avoid administration in patients with peptic ulcers, severe cardiovascular diseases, or severe liver or kidney damage. Patients with a history of allergy to specific anti-inflammatory drugs or aspirin should also refrain from taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant are advised to avoid this medication due to the herbal components that could pose risks of miscarriage or premature birth. This medication should be used with caution in patients with peptic ulcers, cardiovascular diseases, liver or kidney dysfunction, bronchial asthma, or those taking psychiatric medications. During use, gastrointestinal symptoms such as heartburn, indigestion, nausea, and diarrhea may occur, necessitating caution. Patients with fluid retention or heart failure should be particularly careful as symptoms of swelling may arise. Regular alcohol consumption may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, so caution is advised. The safety of co-administering with other anti-inflammatory drugs or corticosteroids has not been established, so caution is warranted. If any signs of heart, gastrointestinal, liver, or kidney dysfunction occur, immediate medical attention should be sought, and if necessary, the medication should be discontinued. Although no serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis have been reported in clinical trials, if sudden breathing difficulties or rash occur, immediate emergency treatment should be sought. This medication cannot replace corticosteroids and may conceal inflammatory symptoms, delaying the diagnosis of infections, so caution is warranted. If dizziness or drowsiness occurs during use, one should refrain from driving or operating machinery and maintain a safe environment. The components such as ligusticum wallichii and angelica may induce symptoms like indigestion or vomiting in individuals sensitive to the gastrointestinal tract, so consulting a healthcare professional before use is advisable. Skin rashes might develop due to gastrodia elata; if such symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. No studies have been conducted on interactions with other drugs, so if there are other medications being taken, consult a healthcare professional. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are advised against the use of this medication, especially while breastfeeding, as it may transfer into breast milk and thus breastfeeding should be suspended. Safety and efficacy in newborns, children, and adolescents have not been established, and it is safest to avoid use in these age groups. Elderly patients are at a higher risk of adverse reactions, so their conditions should be closely monitored during use. In cases of overdose, immediate hospital care should be sought for thorough examination and appropriate treatment. Keep out of reach of children, and avoid transferring the medication to other containers.
