Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension
This medication is used in patients with essential hypertension when adequate blood pressure control is not achieved with monotherapy of amlodipine or olmesartan medoxomil. It contributes to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases through safe and effective blood pressure management.
This medication should be administered once daily, 1 tablet, with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time daily (e.g., in the morning) if possible. The recommended dosages are as follows: - 5/20 milligrams: administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy of amlodipine 5 milligrams or olmesartan medoxomil 20 milligrams. - 10/20 milligrams: administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy of olmesartan medoxomil 20 milligrams.
