Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid taking this medication due to reported adverse effects on the fetus in animal studies. Caution should be used when administering to women who are menstruating or patients prone to bleeding as the risk of bleeding may increase. Patients taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors should use this drug cautiously, as the risk of bleeding may increase when used together. Patients with severely impaired kidney function or the elderly should also be careful when administering this medication due to the increased risk of drug excretion or side effects. Particularly, if bleeding symptoms or signs of liver or blood abnormalities occur, medication should be stopped immediately and the patient should seek medical attention from an expert. Regular blood testing while taking this medication is advisable in order to check blood status and to detect and manage side effects early.
