Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is one tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). For patients with severe renal impairment, treatment should start with a lower dose, and the dose should be gradually increased. For hepatic impairment, the daily dose should not exceed 40 milligrams. For the elderly, treatment should start with a lower dose and be gradually increased.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established, therefore, this drug is not recommended for use.

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus if used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should not be taken by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant. This drug should not be administered to individuals who are allergic to its ingredients or similar medications, have biliary obstruction, severe liver disease, aortic stenosis due to heart problems, severe hypotension, are in shock, have unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction, have certain genetic conditions, or have diabetes or severe kidney impairment. This medication should be used with caution in patients with primary aldosteronism or certain heart valve disorders, liver dysfunction, gastrointestinal diseases, renovascular hypertension, dialysis patients, and the elderly, and caution is also required when used in combination with other antihypertensive medications. Taking this drug may result in various side effects, including dizziness, peripheral edema, palpitations, hypotension, dyspepsia, and rashes. If any unusual symptoms occur, medical consultation should be sought immediately. It is important not to take this medication during pregnancy, and if pregnancy is confirmed, it should be discontinued immediately, and alternative treatment should be sought. Nursing mothers are also advised not to take this medication. Patients with impaired kidney function should have their blood potassium and kidney function tested regularly while taking this medication, and caution should be exercised in patients with hypotension or heart failure. This medication may interact with other drugs, so if you are taking other medications, it is essential to inform your healthcare provider, especially when taken with lithium, digoxin, warfarin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, simvastatin, grapefruit juice, etc. This drug is not recommended for children as its safety and efficacy have not been adequately established, and for the elderly, it is advisable to start with a low dose and gradually increase the dosage. In case of overdose, there is a risk of hypotension, dizziness, and acute renal failure, so immediate medical attention should be sought for appropriate treatment. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and it is recommended to open the packaging just before use.

Serious side effects

Urticaria, severe swelling (edema), cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mucous membranes of mouth/eyes, difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory distress with cough and fever, jaundice (yellowing of skin or eyes), extreme lethargy, sudden and very severe headache, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis, significantly reduced urine output, systemic effects

Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, migraine, sensory disturbances, syncope, peripheral neuropathy, taste alterations, tremors, visual disturbances (including double vision), vertigo, tinnitus, palpitations, bradycardia, tachycardia, flushing, hypotension, orthostatic hypotension, cough, rhinitis, changes in bowel habits (including diarrhea and constipation), abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, gingival hyperplasia, hair loss, purpura, skin discoloration, sweating, rash, itching, eczema, erythema, joint swelling

This medication may be sensitive to light, so it should be stored in a container that blocks light. Moreover, it is best stored at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. Proper storage will ensure the safe maintenance of the medication's efficacy.
