Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who have had an allergic reaction to its components. Additionally, it contains lactose, so it should not be taken by patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, and glucose-galactose malabsorption. When taking this medication, serious allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may rarely occur, so if symptoms appear, the medication should be stopped immediately and medical personnel should be informed. Leukocyte and platelet counts may decrease, so one should monitor their health closely and consult a physician if any abnormalities occur. Liver function issues may arise, so if signs of jaundice or elevated liver enzymes appear, medication should be discontinued and treatment sought. Skin hypersensitivity reactions such as hives, rash, and itching may occur, so use should be discontinued if such symptoms arise. There may be neurological symptoms such as dizziness or drowsiness, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as dry mouth, constipation, abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, etc., may occur. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only take this medication when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as its safety is not certain. Breastfeeding women should avoid using this medication since it may be transmitted through breast milk. The safety in neonates, infants, and children has not been sufficiently confirmed, so caution is necessary. The elderly should be particularly cautious of side effects such as gastrointestinal symptoms, as bodily functions may weaken.
