Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus during pregnancy, particularly in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, so it should be stopped immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. It should not be used in certain patients such as those with allergies to this drug or its ingredients, pregnant women, lactating women, and patients with severe liver impairment. Caution is needed when prescribing this drug to elderly patients, those with impaired kidney function, or patients with hyperkalemia, and regular monitoring of blood pressure and kidney function is essential. Side effects such as dizziness, back pain, and respiratory infections may occur while taking this medication, so caution is necessary. Heart failure patients are at risk for hypotension, hyperkalemia, and impaired kidney function, so regular blood tests to monitor their condition are required. Since blood pressure may fall too low or kidney function may worsen, special attention must be given to patients on dialysis or those taking diuretics or suffering from hyponatremia to carefully monitor dosage and conditions. When taken with other antihypertensive agents, this medication may increase blood pressure-lowering effects, so it should be used following a physician's direction. It is advisable for pregnant or nursing women not to take this medication, and if it is absolutely necessary, they must consult professionals. Safety in children and adolescents under 18 has not been established, so its use is not recommended.
