Precautions

This medication must be consulted with a physician or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily, as combining with alcohol increases the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. Individuals with cardiovascular issues or risk factors should be cautious while taking this medication as the risk of cardiovascular thromboembolism like myocardial infarction or stroke may increase. If such symptoms occur, immediate medical attention is required. This medication may cause serious issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforations, especially in the elderly or those taking it for an extended time. Seek immediate treatment if gastrointestinal pain or bleeding symptoms occur. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding, or those with severe liver, kidney, or heart conditions should avoid this medication, as well as those with allergies or a history of asthma. Using with aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is not recommended as it increases the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and may reduce the effectiveness of the meds. Additionally, there may be interactions with certain anticancer drugs or anticoagulants, so consult a doctor. During use, breastfeeding should be stopped or consulted with a doctor, and caution is required while driving or operating machinery due to possible dizziness or fatigue. Long-term high-dose usage may cause headaches. Those with pre-existing conditions such as blood abnormalities, liver, kidney issues, hypertension, heart failure, or elderly and children (over 6 years old) should consult a professional before taking. Special caution is advised in the later stages of pregnancy as it can affect the fetus. If symptoms such as shock, severe allergic reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, skin rash, liver function abnormalities, or renal function deterioration occur during use, immediately discontinue and consult medical professionals. It is best to use this medication at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible, with regular blood tests and liver and renal function checks needed. This med serves as symptomatic relief and should be used alongside treatment for the underlying cause.
