This medication is used to relieve various joint and muscle pains, including rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), periarthritis of the scapula and humerus, low back pain, and sciatica. It is also effective for pain caused by non-articular rheumatism. By reducing pain and inflammation, it helps improve the patient's comfort in daily life. Since it is primarily used for chronic joint and muscle issues, it aids in consistent management. It is used as a treatment for those experiencing discomfort from such symptoms.
As aceclofenac, take 200 mg once daily. Do not chew or crush the tablets; take them whole. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
This medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks of alcohol daily, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is mandatory. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events; therefore, patients with risk factors for cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, hypertension, and diabetes should use it cautiously. As the longer the dosage and duration increase, the greater the risk to the cardiovascular system could become, it should be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible, and treatment responses and symptoms should be monitored continuously. Older adults or patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases are at a higher risk of serious gastrointestinal conditions such as bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, and should be particularly careful; immediate medical attention is required if symptoms appear. It should not be taken if there is active peptic ulcer or bleeding or if there is an allergy to this drug or similar medications.
