Relief of muscle tension in conditions such as neuralgia and myalgia
This medication is used to treat various pains, including neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, and low back pain, as well as pain related to injuries such as sprains and shoulder pain, and symptoms related to muscle tension disorders, including muscle spasms and rigidity.
Take 2 tablets once, up to 4 times a day, avoiding an empty stomach. Adjust dosage as appropriate based on age and symptoms.
This medication may cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks per day, so it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist. This medication contains acetaminophen, and taking it with other acetaminophen products may lead to exceeding the maximum daily dosage, causing potential liver damage, so caution is advised. Individuals with allergies to chlorzoxazone or acetaminophen, or those who have experienced allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or swelling after taking this medication, as well as those who have had asthma symptoms triggered by this medication or other cold medicines, should not take this medication. If symptoms such as hives, swelling, chest tightness, color changes in the face, cold sweats, or shortness of breath occur during use, stop taking it immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. Caution is advised when taking this medication with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol, as it may slow down the breakdown of acetaminophen, putting strain on the liver. Patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction or those with a history of allergies should take this medication with caution. If allergy symptoms such as hives, rash, or itching occur during use, stop taking it immediately, as there may be side effects such as liver dysfunction, gastrointestinal disturbances, drowsiness, or dizziness. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should only take this medication when the benefits are deemed to outweigh the risks. When taken with alcohol or central nervous system depressants, there is an increased risk of side effects due to interactions, so caution is advised. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and stored away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place, and it should not be transferred to another container to maintain its quality.
