This medication is used to treat male pattern hair loss, particularly in adult males aged 18 to 41 years, which is also known as androgenetic alopecia. Male pattern hair loss is a condition that occurs due to genetic and hormonal factors; this drug normalizes the hair growth cycle, slows the progression of hair loss, and promotes new hair growth. With consistent use, it can improve hair density in the affected areas and enhance overall hair health. In doing so, it helps alleviate the stress caused by hair loss and restores confidence.
