Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to any of the components of this drug or have genetic issues such as lactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Caution is required for patients with poor liver function, serious heart diseases, cerebrovascular disorders, elderly patients, and those taking certain antihypertensives or PDE5 inhibitors. Side effects such as dizziness, lightheadedness, hypotension, and gastric discomfort may occur when taking this medication, and serious side effects such as liver dysfunction or loss of consciousness can also occur, so careful observation is necessary. Overdose may lead to excessively low blood pressure, so dosage must be adhered to strictly. Orthostatic hypotension may occur, so it is advised to move slowly when standing up and to monitor for changes in blood pressure. When engaging in hazardous activities such as driving or working at heights, caution is advised due to the risk of accidents from dizziness or lightheadedness. If taken with other antihypertensives, blood pressure may drop too low, so all current medications must be disclosed, and dosage adjustments may be needed. Keep out of reach of children and do not take the medication directly from the packaging; instead, remove it from the packaging before taking. Swallowing it with the packaging can risk damage to the esophagus. Elderly patients may experience decreased liver function, causing the medication to remain in the body for longer periods, so administration should be done with careful monitoring. This medication is for symptomatic relief, and if it fails to provide effect, other treatment methods should be considered.
