Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who have had allergic reactions to its ingredients. Additionally, since it contains lactose, it should not be administered to patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Patients with poor liver function should use this drug cautiously as its blood concentration may increase. It is necessary to exercise caution for patients with severe heart or cerebrovascular problems due to limited experience in usage. Elderly patients should be cautious as the drug may remain in the body for a long time due to reduced liver function. Patients taking other antihypertensive medications should be aware of the risk of their blood pressure dropping too low due to interactions with this drug. Patients with orthostatic hypotension should also be careful when using this drug. Side effects such as dizziness, lightheadedness, low blood pressure, and gastric discomfort may occur while taking this medication, so if any abnormal symptoms arise, immediate consultation with a physician is necessary. If severe side effects such as liver dysfunction, jaundice, or fainting occur, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and appropriate treatment sought. In cases of overdose, blood pressure may drop too low, so the prescribed dosage must be adhered to. Symptoms of orthostatic hypotension may appear, so patients should move slowly when getting up. When engaging in dangerous activities such as driving or working at heights, caution is advised as dizziness may occur. Those taking blood pressure-lowering medications should closely monitor blood pressure changes, and dosage adjustments may be necessary if required. This medication is primarily a treatment to alleviate symptoms, so if the expected effect is not achieved, other treatment options should also be considered. To store this drug safely, it must be kept out of reach of children and should be taken out of the packaging for administration.
