This medication is used to treat epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucous membrane epidermolysis (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), and dry eye syndrome, as well as epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva that arise from external causes such as surgery, drug-induced damage, trauma, and contact lens wear.
Instill 1 drop 5 to 6 times a day. Adjust as appropriate depending on symptoms.
This medication is an eye drop containing sodium hyaluronate as the main ingredient, used to relieve dryness or irritation in the eyes. However, patients allergic to the ingredients included in this medication or to protein-based drugs should not use it. Symptoms such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, corneal damage, and foreign body sensation may occur, and, rarely, eye discharge or pain may develop. If any of these symptoms occur, it is important to stop use immediately and consult a doctor. Additionally, hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, and in such cases, use should also be discontinued. This medication may be more likely to cause adverse reactions when used together with other eye drops, such as steroids, antibiotics, or glaucoma treatments, so caution is necessary. When using other eye drops, this medication should be administered with an interval of about 30 minutes. This medication is for topical ocular use only, and care must be taken to avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eyelids or eyelashes. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded, and any remaining solution should be disposed of immediately after opening. Avoid sharing with others, and keep out of the reach of children. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, and it is advisable not to transfer to another container.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
If this medication is multi-use, it should be stored in a sealed container to prevent air exposure and kept at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. For single-use, it should be kept in a sealed container, likewise at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius. Storing this way helps maintain the drug's efficacy and prevents degradation.
