Adult dose

Administer once daily orally at the same time each day. If necessary, the medication may be taken in two doses per day. Increase the dosage by 5 mg weekly over the first 3 weeks. First week (days 1-7): 5 mg once daily Second week (days 8-14): 10 mg once daily Third week (days 15-21): 15 mg once daily From the fourth week: 20 mg once daily The maintenance dosage is 20 mg daily.

This medicine should not be used by individuals who are allergic to its components. It should also not be administered to patients with severely impaired liver function or severely impaired kidney function. Caution is warranted for individuals with epilepsy or a history of seizures, as well as when used in conjunction with certain medications, due to an increased risk of side effects. This medication is used for patients with severe Alzheimer's disease, so it is safer to avoid driving or operating machinery while taking it.
