Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults take 1 tablet twice daily.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to this drug or its ingredients, or those with a history of peptic ulcers, severe heart disease, liver dysfunction, or kidney dysfunction. In addition, patients who have previously had an allergic reaction to COX-2 inhibitors, sulfonamides, aspirin, or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should not take it. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication due to certain herbal ingredients that may increase the risk of miscarriage or premature birth. Particularly, patients with a history of peptic ulcers or symptoms of fluid retention or heart failure should be especially cautious, and those who frequently consume alcohol may have an increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. Safety has not been confirmed when this medication is used in combination with corticosteroids, hyaluronate injections, COX-2 inhibitors, sulfonamides, or aspirin, so caution should be exercised. If symptoms of cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, liver, or kidney dysfunction occur during treatment, discontinue use and consult a specialist immediately. It is important to regularly undergo blood tests, kidney and liver function tests, and electrocardiogram tests to check for abnormalities. Serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis may occur during the use of this medication, so if sudden shortness of breath or skin rash occurs, immediate emergency treatment is needed. This medication cannot substitute for corticosteroids or be used for the treatment of corticosteroid deficiency.
