  • myocardial ischemia
View approved original text

This medication is effective not only for the treatment of hypertension but also for stable angina due to fixed closure of the coronary arteries and variant angina caused by vascular spasms leading to myocardial ischemia. Additionally, it reduces the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients without heart failure or with an ejection fraction of over 40% among patients identified with coronary artery disease during recent angiography, and decreases potential risks following coronary revascularization procedures. Therefore, this drug improves patient conditions through cardiovascular disease management and is used to prevent complications.
