Improvement of symptoms and urinary flow in benign prostatic hyperplasia, reduction of the need for surgery
Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a condition characterized by an enlarged prostate that causes difficulty in urination. This medication improves symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia and reduces the enlarged prostate tissue to facilitate urinary flow. It also decreases the frequency of acute urinary retention, preventing sudden blockage of urination. By using this medication, it is possible to reduce the necessity for invasive treatments such as prostate surgery or transurethral resection. Therefore, it effectively helps improve various issues related to prostatic hyperplasia.
Administer 5 mg of finasteride orally once daily without regard to meals. If symptoms improve, treatment should continue for at least 6 months.
