In such cases, treatment is necessary to restore liver function and reduce inflammation. It is important to take appropriate medications and improve lifestyle habits to maintain liver health and reduce liver cell damage. This medication is used to treat chronic persistent hepatitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, 1 capsule for adults, taken orally three times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with complete biliary obstruction. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so it should not be administered to patients with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Caution should be exercised when using this medication in patients with chronic active hepatitis, cirrhosis, hypokalemia, severe pancreatic disease, peptic ulcer disease, or cholelithiasis. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting may occur occasionally during the use of this medication, and rarely abdominal pain, constipation, heartburn, or discomfort in the upper abdomen may also be experienced. Additionally, hypersensitivity reactions such as itching or rash may occur, and rarely skin rashes may develop, but these symptoms usually resolve with the concomitant use of antihistamines. Transient jaundice may appear, but stopping the medication or administering jaundice treatment can alleviate these symptoms. Rarely, systemic fatigue or dizziness may occur, so caution should be taken. If symptoms do not improve with long-term use of this medication or if unusual symptoms arise, the medication should be stopped immediately, and a physician or pharmacist should be consulted. Keep out of reach of children and strictly adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid using this medication as it may be harmful to the fetus. Lastly, when taken with oral diabetes medications, the effects of the diabetes medications may be enhanced, so caution is advised.
