Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension.
This medication is used in patients with essential hypertension who do not have sufficient blood pressure control with either amlodipine or telmisartan monotherapy. It helps prevent cardiovascular complications and maintain health by better managing blood pressure.
Take 1 tablet once daily with water, regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). In cases of severe kidney impairment, treatment should start with a lower dose and be increased gradually, while for liver disease patients, the daily dose of telmisartan should not exceed 40 mg. Elderly patients (75 years or older) should start with a lower dose and gradually increase it.
Safety and efficacy for pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established; hence, administration of this drug is not recommended.
This drug can cause serious harm to the fetus during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Patients allergic to any of the main ingredients or related components of this drug, breastfeeding women, patients with severe liver or heart problems, patients with severe hypotension, etc., should not take this drug. Patients with primary aldosteronism or certain heart valve diseases, patients with impaired liver function, patients with gastrointestinal disorders, patients with renal vascular issues, patients with renal failure requiring dialysis, elderly patients, etc., should use this drug with caution. Common side effects such as dizziness or edema may occur when taking this drug, and, rarely, severe allergic reactions or heart problems may arise. This drug should not be used during pregnancy, and if pregnancy is confirmed, treatment should be discontinued immediately and alternative therapies should be initiated. Hypotension may occur, so patients with insufficient fluids or salts should adjust their condition before taking the drug, and if symptoms of hypotension appear during treatment, appropriate measures should be taken immediately. As there is a risk of elevated potassium levels in the blood, caution is needed when taking potassium supplements or drugs containing potassium together. Patients with impaired kidney function should regularly monitor kidney function and electrolyte status through blood tests while taking this drug. Patients with heart disease should be cautious when taking this drug, as the risk of angina or myocardial infarction may increase. This drug may cause drowsiness or dizziness, so caution should be taken when driving or operating machinery. Interactions with other medications may occur, so it is important to consult healthcare professionals when taking this drug with digoxin, lithium, warfarin, certain analgesics, etc. Overdose of this drug may result in severe hypotension, dizziness, or impairment of heart function; immediate medical attention should be sought for appropriate treatment. Safety and efficacy have not been adequately established in children, so its use is not recommended. This drug should be kept out of the reach of children, maintained in its original packaging, and opened just before use.
Hives, severe swelling (edema), cold sweat, pallor, severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in oral/eye mucosa, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, jaundice, extreme lethargy, sudden and severe headache, seizures, confusion of consciousness, visual disturbances, paralysis, noticeable decrease in urine output, elevated blood pressure, angioedema, anaphylactic reaction, sepsis, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, toxic epidermal necrolysis.

This drug is sensitive to light; therefore, it should be stored in a special container that does not allow light in. Moreover, it is important to store the medication at a cool room temperature, specifically between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius, to maintain its efficacy.
