This medicine is used to stabilize blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy with amlodipine or telmisartan.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage for this medication is one tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). In cases of severe renal impairment, treatment should start at a lower dose and gradually increase. For patients with liver impairment, the daily dose of telmisartan should not exceed 40 mg. Elderly patients (75 years and older) should start on a lower dose and be monitored carefully.

Precautions
