This medication is used to treat essential hypertension. It is particularly effective in patients with a history of coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, stroke, or high-risk diabetes. For these reasons, this medication is used to control blood pressure and reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular disease.

How to take
