Treatment of male pattern hair loss
This medication is used to treat male pattern hair loss in adult males, particularly those aged 18 to 41. Male pattern hair loss, or androgenetic alopecia, is caused by genetic factors and hormonal influences, and this drug helps to slow hair loss progression and stimulate hair growth, improving hair loss symptoms. With consistent use, it can help hair grow healthier. You can expect effectiveness when taken as directed.
Generally, finasteride is taken orally at a dose of 1 mg once daily, and it can be taken regardless of meals.
This medication should not be administered to pediatric patients or women. Especially, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should not touch broken pieces of this medication, as it may be absorbed through the skin and pose a risk to male fetuses.
