When taking this medication, various side effects such as sensory abnormalities, pain, headache, constipation, abdominal discomfort, dry mouth, cough, cystitis, and diarrhea may occur. Most side effects are mild to moderate in severity, although serious side effects such as kidney stones have been reported infrequently.
