Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: Take 10 mg orally once daily, and if necessary, up to 20 mg once daily. Administer for 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. This medicine is used to treat gastric and duodenal ulcers. It also helps alleviate symptoms of erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease and ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is effective for long-term maintenance of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease. For patients with gastrointestinal ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori, it can be used in combination with antibiotics. Lastly, it is also used for Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. This medication is effective in treating these gastrointestinal-related diseases and alleviating symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: Take 10 mg orally once daily, and if necessary, up to 20 mg once daily. Administer for 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. Precautions

This drug should not be used in patients with specific allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to the components of this drug. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medication. This medication strongly inhibits gastric acid secretion, which may slightly increase the risk of bacterial infections in the gastrointestinal tract; if diarrhea persists, inform a doctor. Drowsiness or dizziness may occur, so caution should be taken while driving or operating machinery. It may interact with other drugs; therefore, inform your healthcare professional if you are taking warfarin, methotrexate, antibiotics, antivirals, etc. Do not chew or crush this drug; it should be swallowed whole in tablet form. Keep out of reach of children and do not transfer to another container to maintain the quality of the drug.
