This drug is used to treat hypertension as well as myocardial ischemia caused by stable angina, which occurs due to a fixed blockage of the coronary artery, and variant angina, which is caused by spasms of the coronary blood vessels.

How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken with sufficient water. As Esamlodipine, the recommended dose is 2.5 mg orally once daily, which can be increased up to 5 mg per day depending on the patient's response. Adjust dosage appropriately according to symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to certain patients. For example, patients who are allergic to this medication or its components, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and patients with severe heart problems or liver dysfunction should not take this medication. Additionally, patients with very poor kidney function, elderly patients, patients with acute heart failure, and patients in hypertensive crisis should use this medication with caution.
