This medication is used as a dietary supplement to reduce blood triglyceride levels in patients with hypertriglyceridemia (Type IV). Additionally, it can effectively treat patients with Type IIb who have both hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia when used in conjunction with statin medications. Particularly, it enhances therapeutic effects when used with statins in patients with uncontrolled triglyceride levels. This medication helps improve serum lipid levels in both monotherapy and combination therapy. Therefore, it plays an important role in controlling hyperlipidemia and contributes to maintaining the health of patients.
