This medication is used for gastrointestinal diseases such as gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis, neutralizing excessive stomach acid to alleviate symptoms such as heartburn and stomach pain caused by acidity. It also helps to improve uncomfortable symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and belching, assisting digestion. Overall, it is used to enhance gastrointestinal health and effectively relieve symptoms.
Adults and children over 12 years old should take 1g of Almagate 3 times a day, chewed and taken orally between 30 minutes and 1 hour after meals. An additional dose may be taken before bedtime if needed.
This medicine should not be taken by individuals allergic to this drug or its ingredients. Patients with Alzheimer's disease, hemorrhoids, or significant bodily edema due to fluid retention should also avoid this medication. Those with preeclampsia, diarrhea, or unexplained gastrointestinal bleeding should avoid this drug as well. Additionally, this drug contains lactose and is not recommended for patients with genetic disorders affecting lactose breakdown. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take tetracycline antibiotics concurrently. If you are taking other medications, consult with your doctor or pharmacist as this drug may affect the absorption or excretion of other medications. Some drugs, especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer treatments, and digitalis preparations, may require spacing out from this medication. Patients with kidney dysfunction are advised not to use this medication due to the risk of accumulation in the body. Individuals with weak physical condition, insufficient intake of food, or malabsorption disorders should be cautious of prolonged use as it may affect bone health. Elderly patients, those showing symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding, or women who are pregnant or nursing should consult a healthcare professional before use. If constipation or diarrhea occurs during use or if symptoms do not improve within two weeks, discontinue and consult a professional immediately. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage accurately, and children should take it under adult supervision. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, in its original container, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place.

This drug should not be taken with tetracycline antibiotics. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer treatments, digitalis preparations, chlorpromazine, lansoprazole, prednisolone, penicillin, quinolone, iron (Fe) salt preparations, or salicylates.
This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air and moisture from entering. It is best to maintain a storage temperature between 1°C and 30°C. This way, the effectiveness of the medication can be preserved for a longer time.
