Improvement of symptoms and urinary flow in benign prostatic hyperplasia, reduction of need for surgery

It reduces the size of the enlarged prostate to facilitate urine flow and decreases the frequency of acute urinary retention. Additionally, it is effective in reducing the need for procedures such as transurethral resection of the prostate or prostatectomy. Therefore, it is used for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
