  • androgenetic alopecia
View approved original text

This medication is used to treat male pattern baldness in adult males, specifically androgenetic alopecia. Since male pattern baldness primarily occurs due to hormonal influences, this drug works on the underlying cause to prevent hair loss and promote hair growth. With regular use, it helps thicken hair and reduce shedding, alleviating the symptoms of hair loss. Thus, consistent intake is effective in slowing down the progression of hair loss and improving hair condition.
