Local treatment effect for vaginal candidiasis and nonspecific bacterial vaginosis
This medication is used for the local treatment of vaginal candidiasis and nonspecific bacterial vaginosis. These conditions occur due to infections in the female vaginal area, and using this medication can effectively eliminate the causative bacteria, alleviating symptoms. This improves patients' discomfort and inflammation.
Adult: Use 1 capsule daily for 12 days in the evening.
This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to specific ingredients. It is advisable to avoid this medication for those using condoms or vaginal contraceptive diaphragms. Users of spermicides should exercise increased caution when using this medication. Long-term use of this medication may lead to skin inflammation such as contact allergic dermatitis. If mucosal irritation or allergic reactions occur, use should be immediately discontinued. Due to potential effects on kidney function or hearing, it is safest to use this medication for the shortest duration possible. Patients with renal failure or those with systemic toxic symptoms should avoid this medication or use it only after consulting a doctor. Allergic reactions can occur when using antibiotics or similar medications, so caution is necessary. While using this medication, to prevent the development of resistant strains, susceptibility testing should be conducted, and it should be used for the minimum necessary duration. This medication can weaken latex products, such as condoms or vaginal contraceptive diaphragms, so caution should be exercised when used together. It may reduce the contraceptive effectiveness of spermicides, so care is needed when using it together with spermicides. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should carefully consider the benefits and risks before using this medication. It is advisable for breastfeeding women not to use this medication. This medication is intended for vaginal use only and should not be taken orally. Continuing treatment during menstruation is also crucial.
