Adult eye dose

Adults: Instill 1 drop 1 to 3 times a day.

This medicine is an eye drop containing potassium iodide and sodium iodide, intended for direct use in the eyes. First, do not use this drug for those who are allergic to it or have thyroid dysfunction. It is also safest not to administer this drug to pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as children. You may experience slight stinging or burning sensations in the eyes during use, and there may be increased tear production. The iodine in this drug can stimulate thyroid function, so caution is needed for patients with hyperthyroid conditions. Additionally, those prone to acne may experience worsening skin conditions after using this drug. If you wear contact lenses, remove them first, use this drug, and wait 30 minutes before putting the lenses back on. This drug is intended for eye use only, and care should be taken to prevent the tip of the bottle from coming into direct contact with the eye. Avoid sharing this medication, and it is advisable not to use it beyond one month after opening. After instilling the drops in your eyes, lightly press the area around the eyes with your finger to reduce systemic absorption of the medication. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, and always close the cap tightly after use. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and do not transfer to another container, as this is important for maintaining the drug's quality.
