This medication is used in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy of amlodipine or valsartan alone. It helps to effectively lower blood pressure and reduce the burden on the vessels and heart.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage is 1 tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). This medication should be administered at 5/80 mg for patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with amlodipine 5 mg or valsartan 80 mg alone. This medication should be administered at 5/160 mg for patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with amlodipine 5 mg or valsartan 160 mg alone.

Child dose

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm or death to the fetus and newborn when taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it must be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed.
